Meghan Stimmler, RN
Meghan Stimmler received her Registered Nursing Degree from Glendale College in 1997. She completed her Bachelor Science in Nursing at USC in 1999 and began working at St Vincent’s Medical Center in Los Angeles on the Medical-Surgical floor from 1996-2003. Meghan began working for A to Z Pediatrics when the doors opened in 2001 as phone triage nurse as well as after hours.Â Meghan was raised in the area and lives in Pasadena with her husband Dan and four children; Makena, Taylor, Jackson and Hudson.
Kay Sclimenti, RN
Kay Sclimenti, RN has 26 years of nursing experience. She started at St Luke Hospital in Pasadena as charge nurse of surgical orthopedics. Kay then worked for 17 years in research in Epidemiology and Infectious Disease for the American Red Cross Blood Services. She has been with A to Z Pediatrics since 2008. Kay lives in the San Gabriel Valley with her husband Michael and twin boys, Matthew and Nathan.
Georgia Miller, RN
Georgia Miller was born and raised in Tracy, California. She attended UCLA and received an undergraduate degree in Economics. After working several years at an accounting firm specializing in entertainment accounting and then for a small business owned by college friends, she decided to return to school and obtain her Bachelors of Science in Nursing. She attended Cal State LA and was then hired at UCLA Mattel Children’s Hospital. Today, she works part-time in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) along with being a phone nurse. Georgia’s three children are patients of Dr. Mark Powell. She spends many hours volunteering at her children’s school, as well as the Children’s Hunger Fund. She hopes one day to return as a volunteer at the Catholic Worker in downtown LA and Camp Ronald McDonald (a pediatric camp for children with cancer.)
Diane Jacobsen, LVN
Diane has worked as a phone nurse at A to Z Pediatrics since its opening in 2001. Caring for children and helping guide parents through the precarious childhood years is one of her passions. She works also at Huntington Memorial Hospital in Pediatrics and Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) for 20 years, caring for acutely ill infants and children and supporting parents. Diane resides in Arcadia with her husband, Brian, and sons, Michael and Johnny. She enjoys cooking, gardening and DYI projects. She also loves music and, as a pianist, enjoys every opportunity to play.
